Whoa...

It has almost been one year since I have updated this...crazy stuff!
Moving on...
Updates one me
I have been unemployed about one month now, and it is driving me insane! I thought I would enjoy having a few weeks off while I searched for a new job but it is quite the opposite. I am about to go insane.
I was fortunate enough to get a call back from a company about two weeks of being unemployed of which I got two interviews with. First one was a phone interview, the guy was very excited and asked me to go in the next day, I had to schedule it a few days later so I could update my portfolio. My second interview went great and the usual "we will be in contact" was said which I knew was genuine and that I would hear back from them. And I did. He informed me that I was in the running for a 3rd interview. The following week I received an email stating they went with another lady. Bummer.

So here I am scanning every possible outlet looking for any type of job. No luck.
I am keeping a positive attitude as I know it takes time to find exactly what I want.
With that being said I am making it a point to update my blog more often to keep my sanity!

On a more positive note....its SNOWING! Not like the usual Texas snowfall, a few minutes of sad little flakes falling from the sky, I mean actual snow! It is absolutely beautiful and peaceful outside. Taking the dog out for a walk was quite an adventure, a cop even stopped and told me I was a dedicated dog owner!

I am sitting at the only place in Dallas that doesn't make me feel like a dork for eating alone. Buzzbrews. I order the same thing everytime. The Zinger crepe, diet coke and water. This time I brought along my laptop to catchup on some online readings and some design work. Feels good to get out of the house...even tho I am forced to sit on the tiny table with the only available outlet since all the booths, aka my regular seating choice, are all full. Sigh.
There is a lot to catch up on, on this thing called a "blog" haha. I am not the best writer so I avoid things that make me write, odd I know.

I gave up alcohol for lent. 40 days. 40 nights. Friday was the first outing with my new non alcoholismness. It wasnt too bad I just downed water like it was going out of style.

I have also been going to the gym 4/5 times a week and I am addicted! I love the kickboxing class and just doing basic ol cardio! At this point as long as I can be healthier that is all I ask for!

I am working on new designs for _____ I cant say yet....but Im pretty excited about doing some of my OWN design work since I have been neglecting it...opps! I am also getting the ball rolling on a side business, its tough trying to find what I need but I am getting some help so hopefully Ill have some updates soon.

My dogs favorite song...

So I figured out my dogs favorite song. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers- Mary Jane's Last Dance

How did I figure this out?
When I use my computer right before I go to bed she is laying down to my right, well I had the song playing and she turns around and puts her head on me, then when I muted it to make a phone call she put her head on my laptop, when I played it again she moved her head again, so I did this a few times and every time she kept putting her head on my laptop. So now I play it for her before she goes to bed!

Where do all the hours go?
I cannot believe how fast the day will go by once I'm home from work. I get nothing done, well maybe the fact that I take cat naps adds to my problem....
.....well wherever the days minutes and hours are going I want to stay away from them! I want longer after work days!

I need to stop being so lazy and update this more often.

Goodness gracious this is frustrating!
I have tried this darn code over and over and cannot get it to work!
I have a website meeting at 2 in which I was trying to have a better grasp on getting this lightbox thing to work, doesnt look like it :(
Anyway can't wait until lunch!
